Louise Dorph – the designer behind A Simple Mess.
Louise has designed products and created print patterns for A Simple Mess, which – as its name suggests – pays tribute to the simple and beautiful mess, the mess that reflects the lived life, where there is scope for play, gadgetry and weeds in the vases on the dinner table. At A Simple Mess we truly love coming into homes with cosy disarray, places where you can get a real sense of those who live there – it’s the kind of mess that gives a home warmth and personality.
With a background as a stylist and a passion for decorating and creating beautiful surroundings, Louise Dorph has put together a collection where natural materials and unique craftsmanship are at the forefront. Virtually the entire collection is handmade without the use of artificial materials. In addition, the collection contains several unique pieces that are made in very small quantities.
A Simple Mess presents a creative and feminine interior design universe comprised of Louise’s own drawings and designs as well as hand-picked elements from all over the world – all inspired by the beautiful, vibrant mess we adore here in the A Simple Mess team.
